Technics, Time and Twitter

A friend of mine (an artist who wishes to remain anonymous) has embarked on the vast project of discrete-ising Bernard Stiegler’s entire Technics and Time corpus as tweets. @TechnicsAndTime can found and followed HERE.

In his own words;

The goal is to edit it into sentences of no more than 140 chars, with no cheating like using “…” for multi-tweet sentences. I’m also keeping as close as possible to the original text, not reworking it into bullet-point summaries or anything. But, as much as possible, the goal is still to make the tweets standalone, in a sort of aphoristic style, rather than make them a series of sentences that can only be read in series, as a paragraph. That’s easier in some passages than others. To *fully* make it standalone tweets would require converting Stiegler’s entire thought into the style of Wittgenstein’s Tractatus, but in parts it’s actually relatively amenable to that.
